Ruth Lee Small scale work, to wear, to adorn, to use as bespoke edgings or simply to hang. Delicate and lightweight yet strong, they were hand framed on a domestic knitting machine in two strands of hair fine (0.1mm) enameled copper wire and 1 strand of metallic machine embroidery thread. These pieces were constructed around 2010/11 and are constantly evolving. I like the idea of bespoke edgings which is what I am working on at the moment.
